15 Sites in 15 Years

Milwaukee - Public Allies Incorporated, a national leadership development program, has reached the benchmark of 15 programs within 15 cities in 15 years. The program opened the three new sites in May of 2007.

The three sites opened in San Antonio, Texas, Albuquerque,New Mexico and Miami, Florida. The expansion are in line with the organizations long-term expansion plan of 30 sites by 2011.

The three new sites also solidify the organizations goal to affiliate local programs with larger, more promient institutions. The Miami, Fl program is affiliated with the Human Services Coalition of Dade County, while the New Mexico program is an affiliate of the New Mexico Forum for Youth. The San Antonio program was also created within an affiliate structure, and is currently a program of American Sunrise, an affordable housing program founded by former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros .

The organization is currently seeking corporate sponsorships, along with private donations to further its long-term expansion efforts.
