ALUMNI NETWORK

A growing network of diverse leaders

Our Alumni represent more than 2,200 examples of how we're changing the face and practice of leadership in communities across the country.

More than 80% of Public Allies Alumni continue careers in public life.

Alumni are also twice as likely as their peers to be engaged in civic life and social change that strengthens communities.

Just as we believe that everyone leads, we believe that leadership never stops.

Our Alumni Network is an active, growing force for social impact. We provide Alumni with resources to enhance their leadership skills over the long-term:

  • Public Allies fellowships provide advanced professional development and training in community building. For instance, the fellowship offered at Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center allows Alumni to live in community with nontraditional students, provide instruction, and become skilled youth workers.
  • Washington Week  invites Alumni to participate in three exciting days of lobbying and advocacy training, strategy development, and meetings with elected officials on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Washington Week 2009 TBA.
  • Change-maker Awards recognize Alumni who carry forward and exemplify Public Allies values after graduating from the program.
  • Our continuous learning fund provides financial resources to encourage Alumni to participate in professional development that builds their skills and networks to work for change.
  • The Enterprise Fund offers financial support Alumni use to pursue social change efforts that are innovative and collaborative.
